Centric relation
OrisCeph® Rx3 includes, among all its functions, the centric relation, which is the stabilization of the occlusion in retrognathic position; this position is possible having the values of condilar position detected with the MPI (mandibular position indicator).
First of all a cephalometric tracing must be executed drawing the structures and inserting the landmarks.
It's fundamental that the executed tracing displays the Frankfurt plan.
Once selected from the menu Treatings the item “Centric Relation”, it will be shown the window where to enter data regarding the initial condilar position, measured with the MPI.
Following the guided process, the tracing with the mandible in centric relation will be displayed.
The blue line indicates the previous position of the mandible, while the black one the position in centric relation.
